Kavach is an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system made in India to reduce the number of human errors causing rail accidents. Kavach is developed by Indian Railways to automatically intervene to prevent trains whenever it identifies unsafe conditions like Signal Passed At Danger (SPAD), over-speed infractions, or collisions.
